DESIGNED

TO BE DEEPLY

AUTHENTIC

TO THE WAY YOU LIVE.

WHO WE ARE

Artful. Intentional. Discerning.

Built on twenty years of construction expertise and intuitive creativity, we design and renovate homes that invite people in with ease and give you the space to step away from the noise.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At KNOX + ROWE, we don’t do cookie-cutter. PERIOD!

We believe great design is personal, layered, and full of soul. Your space should reflect your story, your experiences, and the way you actually live… not just what’s trending.

We take the time to understand what inspires you, what makes you feel at home, and what design details will make your space uniquely yours. Whether it’s pulling from your travels, blending unexpected textures, or reimagining a space in a way you never considered, we love bringing creative, out-of-the-box ideas to life.

Our creative eye brings clarity. We see what's not quite working, and more importantly, we understand why.

OUR SERVICES

THE CLARITY SESSION

Feeling stuck or unsure where to begin?

Ninety minutes together, reviewing your layout, your selections, and your gut. You leave with honest feedback on what's working, what isn't, and the clarity that comes before a $20,000 mistake.

→ Best for the savvy DIYer who wants expert eyes on their plan before committing.

 DESIGN ROADMAP

A full design BUT without the drawing set. We dial in your space plan, build a curated design concept, source your material samples, and hand you a design brief that tells your contractor exactly where you're going.

→. Best for the homeowner who wants a layered, intentional design and the confidence to execute it at your own pace.

F.A.Q

  • We're a Design House first with over a decade of design practice however the studio is built on a much longer construction lineage.

Twenty years coordinating residential construction projects, and a quarter-century inside a family-run construction company. That means every design we deliver is rooted in how a home actually gets built.

This translates to fewer surprises, more elegant solutions, and a contractor who shows up on day one looking at plans they can actually execute.

  • It's a different discipline. Contractors are trained to build and the strongest ones are masters of execution. But design is its own field of study: composition, design psychology, and the layered intention that gives a space depth and longevity.

When design is offered as a service alongside construction, it usually pulls from a catalog of standard layouts and selections … pretty enough, but rarely shaped to the way you actually live.

We're designers first, working alongside the trades, not the other way around.

  • Both, depending on the project.

We've built relationships with contractors and craftsmen we trust and for full-service projects, we'll often recommend working with one of them so the team integrates smoothly from day one.

If you already have a contractor you trust, we'll work directly with them. We're not territorial about who builds the work but we're particular about how it gets built.

  • A license is a credential, not a specialty. Running construction means coordinating dozens of trades, managing permits, carrying insurance, and bearing real liability. This scope of work demands it’s own full focus.

We've chosen to stay in our lane: design with construction-deep expertise, paired with long-built relationships with contractors and craftsmen who specialize in execution.

The result is sharper design, cleaner builds, and a clear line of accountability rather than one person stretched across two demanding professions.

  • You’re not alone. This is incredibly common, especially in kitchen and bathroom design where decisions feel permanent.

My role isn’t to choose one person’s taste over the other. It’s to understand the underlying preferences like scale, mood, color, texture and then find the intersection.

Often, what looks like “different styles” is actually different priorities:

    • One person wants calm.

    • One wants character.

    • One wants function.

    • One wants warmth.

As your interior designer, it’s my job translate those needs into a cohesive space that feels aligned for both of you.

The goal is not compromise. It’s clarity.

  • Our main interior design studio is located in Eugene, Oregon, offering full-service interior design locally, including kitchen design and bathroom design projects.

For clients outside of Oregon, I offer both virtual interior design services and Full Service Design. This allows us to work together regardless of location while still following a clear, structured design process.

Whether we’re collaborating in person or virtually, the intention is the same: to create a home that feels finished, timeless, and supportive of your daily life.
